Three Decisions That Shape Every eme Crane.

Lightweight aluminum, North American manufacturing, and field-verified engineering. Those three decisions are upstream of everything else on the spec sheet — they're why an eme gantry rolls under load, why a 22000 Series fits where a steel gantry won't, and why a Certificate of Test ships with every unit.

01

Aluminum, Not Steel.

Every eme structural extrusion is 6061-T6 aluminum. That's not a finish choice — it's why a 22,000 lb eme gantry can weigh roughly 1,030 lb while comparable steel gantries can weigh several times more, why a small crew can assemble it on the ground, and why a maintenance shop can store it in the same footprint as a pallet rack. The weight comes off the operator, not the rated capacity.

02

Welded Under CSA W47.2 Certification.

Every welded aluminum structure is produced under CSA W47.2 certification by qualified aluminum welders — the Canadian Welding Bureau's third-party credential for fusion welding of aluminum. It's not a manufacturer self-claim; it's an audited program with documented procedure qualification records (PQRs) and welder qualifications (WPQRs).

03

Engineer-Stamped & Load-Tested.

Every eme gantry, davit, and Eagle Beam is proof-load tested to 125% of rated capacity and ships with an engineer-stamped drawing and a Certificate of Test. For the cranes, OSHA 1910.179(k)(2) caps that rated-load test at 125% — eme completes and documents it before the unit ships. Almost all eme gantry and davit designs are additionally qualified by a 150% proof-load test, documented on the engineer-stamped drawing. The lift plan reviewer doesn't have to take our word for the rating — and the customer's pre-service proof test is already done.

Built Around North American Standards.

Standards vary by product category. eme equipment is engineered to applicable ASME and CSA requirements, welded under CSA W47.2 certification by qualified aluminum welders where applicable, and load-tested before shipment.

OSHA 1910.179(k)(2) caps a crane's rated-load proof test at 125% of rated capacity unless the manufacturer recommends otherwise. No matter which gantry, davit, or beam ships from the eme facility, that test is already complete: the consistent documentation set includes a Certificate of Test at 125% of rated capacity, engineer-stamped drawing, operator manual, and assembly instructions. Welded under CSA W47.2 certification by qualified aluminum welders where applicable, engineered to applicable ASME and CSA requirements, and built from 6061-T6 aluminum structural components.

Backed by a 10-year warranty on the crane and a 2-year warranty on the casters.
