Submersible Pump Pulls
Wastewater lift stations, water-treatment wet wells, and industrial sumps. The 4400 gantry over a pit, or a davit on a pre-installed pit-rim socket, both work — pick by site frequency and clearance.
Industrial maintenance happens at the service point — pump pits, motor stands, switchgear rooms, valve banks, conveyor lines. Permanent overhead cranes don't reach every bay, forklifts don't fit in every space, and outside lifting support doesn't pencil out for routine work. eme portable aluminum gantries and davits roll to the lift, set up on the spot, deliver rated lifting capacity at the service point without requiring a fixed overhead crane at every bay, and roll back out — deployed by the in-house maintenance crew, engineered to the same standards.
Six categories cover most of the routine industrial maintenance lifts eme equipment handles every day. The common thread: the load is in a space a permanent overhead crane doesn't serve, and the lift happens often enough that a third-party crane truck doesn't pencil out.

Plant motors, HVAC fan motors, process pumps. The 4400 covers most lifts on this list; the 6600 picks up the larger industrial pumps.
Breaker pulls, transformer service, MCC bucket removals. Tight-clearance work where a forklift can't maneuver and a chain hoist alone isn't enough.
Large valve service in process plants — the actuator alone is often 500–1,500 lb, and the lift point usually doesn't have a permanent overhead crane.
Drive motors, gearboxes, head pulleys, idler banks. Gantry rolls down the conveyor line; davit sockets installed at fixed service points.
Tool changes, fixture removal, die handling — the lifts a maintenance crew does weekly that don't justify a permanent crane or a third-party mobilization.
Three jobsite photographs from eme customers — rooftop mechanical service, interior renovation work, and multi-gantry mechanical-contracting installs. The lifts a permanent overhead crane would never reach, done with portable aluminum equipment the in-house crew owns.
A short list — not the entire eme catalog, just the configurations that show up most often on industrial-maintenance jobsites.
The plant-maintenance workhorse. Six models cover most routine industrial lifts; rolls while loaded.
See series→For larger pump, motor, and switchgear lifts. Ground-up assembly with a small crew and forklift support where needed.
See series→Pre-installed safety-yellow sockets at every lift point — one davit services the network.
See series→eme gantries and davits are engineered to applicable ASME and CSA requirements for their product category. Structural welds on aluminum structures are produced under CSA W47.2 certification by qualified aluminum welders where applicable. OSHA requires a crane to be proof-load tested to 125% of rated capacity before it is placed into service — a workplace-use obligation on the employer. eme completes that 125% proof-load test on every unit as part of its quality-control process and ships a Certificate of Test, so the pre-service proof test is already done and documented on arrival.
