HVAC & Mechanical Install
Smaller chillers, fan coils, valve actuators, pump skids — the typical 1-tonne mechanical-contracting lifts.
The 2200 Series gives crews 2,200 lb / 1-tonne lifting capacity across four standard models — the widest lift-range coverage in the eme line, from 66 in to 252 in maximum height. The shorter R-8 and LW-10 assemble by hand with a 1–2 person crew and two wrenches; the taller XT-15 and MAX-15 are designed for standard forklift-assisted setup. Shares the trolley family with the 1100 and 4400 Series.
Four models, all carrying the same 2,200 lb / 1-tonne rated capacity. The differentiator is lift range — from 66 in (R-8 for shop and service-truck lifts) up to 252 in (MAX-15 for tall mechanical-room and industrial installs). All four share the trolley family with the 1100 and 4400 Series. Spin the model on the right while you read.
Weights, lift ranges, and dimensions verified against the current eme Aluminum Gantry Crane Spec Summary. Lift range = min/max height to lifting eye. Max height = max top-of-trolley height. Assembled weight excludes the beam trolley (shared with the 1100 and 4400 Series). All cranes tested to 125% of rated capacity prior to shipment.
3D model shown is a 4400 Series — the 1100, 2200, and 4400 share the same aluminum extrusion architecture and external profile. Toggle between raised and lowered, view the anatomy, or play the video.
The 2200 Series is the lift most maintenance and contracting crews actually need most days — 1-tonne capacity is enough for the majority of pumps, motors, HVAC components, and light-industrial equipment, and the four-model lift-range coverage means there's a 2200 configuration for any ceiling height from a basement to a tall mechanical penthouse.
Smaller chillers, fan coils, valve actuators, pump skids — the typical 1-tonne mechanical-contracting lifts.
Submersible-pump pulls, motor swaps, and routine plant-floor service in maintenance bays.
The XT-15 and MAX-15 reach lift heights most light portable gantries can't — mechanical penthouses, two-story service bays, tall industrial installs.
Generator, pump, and motor service in industrial shops where a fixed crane isn't available or practical.
Tight-space machinery moves, low-headroom positioning, and 1-tonne plant maintenance.
The shorter R-8 and LW-10 assemble from the ground up with a 1–2 person crew and two wrenches — no facility equipment required. The taller XT-15 and MAX-15 reach lift heights where a standard forklift is the recommended way to set up safely and efficiently. Same modular architecture across all four; right method for the model.
The shorter two models assemble with a 1–2 person crew and two wrenches — no forklift, no facility equipment, no specialized tools.
The taller XT and MAX configurations reach 176 in and 252 in to the lifting eye — a standard forklift is the recommended way to set up safely and efficiently.
Reposition the 2200 with the load on, on suitable level surfaces and in accordance with the operating manual — no need to unload, re-rig, and re-lift between positions.
All four 2200 models share the same trolley family as the 1100 and 4400 Series — train crews once, stock one shelf of spares, and move parts across the small-to-mid capacity tier.
Every eme 2200 Series gantry is engineered to ASME B30.17 (cranes and monorails), CSA B167 (overhead travelling cranes), the Aluminum Design Manual (ADM), and CSA S157 (Canadian aluminum structural design). All welded aluminum structure is produced under CSA W47.2 certification — the Canadian Welding Bureau's third-party credential for fusion welding of aluminum. Each 2200 Series design is qualified by a 150% proof-load test documented on the engineer-stamped drawing. Each production unit is then load-tested to 125% of rated capacity before shipment and supplied with a Certificate of Test.
The 1100 and 4400 share the same trolley family as the 2200 — fleet-wide parts compatibility across all three series.
Lighter. One model — 1100R-8, the lightest in the line.
Smaller →You are here. Four models — widest lift-range coverage in the line.
Current series2-tonne capacity. Six models, shares the trolley family with the 1100 and 2200.
Larger →3-tonne capacity. Different trolley family — shared with the 11000 Series.
Larger →5-tonne capacity. Forklift-assisted setup for heavier industrial work.
Larger →10-tonne flagship. Standalone architecture with its own trolley family.
